If he is a bird you handle, then limit contact to head scratches to avoid triggering his hormones. Otherwise, don’t worry about it. A lot of birds do this, and usually it is intermittent. The main concern if he starts doing it all the time, obsessively, is loss of nutrients. He will definitely eat more if he regurgitates a lot.
