Budgies
My budgie (female) died today.She has 8 baby budgies who she was feeding.Can the male feed them now?i am seeing him enter in the nest but i dont know if he’s feeding them all

The male might feed them. It depends on him, and how young they are. If you can get someone to show you how to handfeed, that might save them if they aren’t too small. If he stays in the box with them, then he is probably caring for them. That is a lot of chicks. It sounds like she laid two clutches back to back. She may have died because of laying so many eggs and having so many chicks. If she has had clutches before this without a break in between, something like that can kill her. I’m very sorry for your loss. I hope you can do something for the chicks,
