cleaning the humans house

What kind of cleaning products can I use to clean my house but not harm my birds? This has probably been asked but I am new to owning birds. Thank You.

I personally just use white vinegar and baking soda. For most things the vinegar is enough. If you need a foaming cleaner, you sprinkle the baking soda and then spray with the vinegar. Otherwise, you need to stick to organic type cleaners, but even then, you should read the label and contact the manufacturer about use around pet birds.

Birds have very sensitive respiratory systems and can succumb to fumes that are not necessarily toxic to people or other pets. It is best to never use anything with a strong odor around your birds.
