6 year old rose breasted cockatoo female started sitting on back of couch and putting her butt on my head – is this hormonal

Yes, that is probably based on hormones. She could be trying to present herself to you for mating, or treating your head like an egg. LOL Really it’s hard to know why they do something like this but it is probably based on hormones. But if she is known for sure to be a female, I would not let her do this anymore as it can lead to serious hormonal issues.
