Eating plants

Hello,
My cockatiel is 6 months old. He always sits on my plants and eat on the leaves.
What van i do?

Answer:

Hi Riena,

As a bird owner, it is your responsibility to keep your bird safe. If he gets on the plants, you need to move him. Many houseplants are poisonous to birds. You should always supervise your bird when he is out of his cage. There are too many dangerous things in a house, so you can’t leave the room when your bird is out, even for a short time. If he is flying to the plants, then it may be time to have a professional to clip his wings for his safety. But again, you still need to be watching him when he is not in his cage.

Happy Holidays!
