My cockatoo is just sitting on the bottom of his cage

I have a 8 year old male umbrella cockatoo and he just started sitting on the bottom of his cage. He is eating and drinking. Could he be nesting? And what can I do for him

The males will nest sometimes. If he is otherwise normal, it may just be nesting. But if you are at all concerned, a Vet check might be in order. A bird can go down very quickly so you don’t want him to end up being really ill.
