Wood to chew on

Is it safe to give Mulberry tree wood for my cockatoo and McCaw to Chew.

I can’t find a good source that says it is safe. One site mentions they are toxic to some species. The best way to find safe wood is to search on Google for safe wood for parrots. You also have to make sure the wood has not been treated with any chemicals. There are many sites that sell wood and toy parts for parrots, so it is probably safest to just buy from a site that has already cleaned the wood and guarantees it to be safe for pet birds.
