Ariana Finkelstein DVM, was born and raised in the Tri-state area. She graduated as a George H. Cook Scholar with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from Cook College, Rutgers University. She then attended The Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. After working with companion and exotic animals for 5 years in private practice, Dr. Finkelstein completed an internship in avian, exotic and zoological medicine at Oklahoma State University. Upon completion of the internship, Dr. Finkelstein worked at the San Antonio Zoo. After 2 years at the zoo, Dr. Finkelstein returned to small animal practice. She now works in emergency medicine and critical care full-time, practicing at Mission Pet Emergency where she is available for exotic animals exclusively one day a week.
