Jill Murray is a registered veterinary technician and veterinary technician specialist in exotic companion animal medicine. Jill works at the Avian, Exotic & Zoo Animal Medicine Service at Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences. Originally from Guelph, Ontario, Jill received her education at Seneca College in Ontario. Her research interests focus on zoological medicine as well as emergency and critical care. In fact, Jill has presented talks on “Whole Blood Transfusion in a Duck to Correct Anemia due to Acorn Toxicosis” at the 2010 International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Symposium and “Avian Critical Care and Analgesia” at the Association of Avian Veterinarians conference in 2009.
