A wild pigeon dove got its leg bitten off by my neighbors’ dog and there isn’t any vets that treat birds within my entire district. Is there anything I can do to help the bird with the pain and its recovery?

Hi, Yesterday I found a pigeon with one wing broken at the stairs. When I go near him, he starts spinning and jumping. Sometimes I get to pet him for a few seconds. I have a cardboard box to keep him in for safety.
