Is it safe to go around my budgies after I shower?

Hello! I’ve been really concerned for long long time about showering! Is it safe to take a shower with products that have fragrance, then go near my birds ? I started using all unscented baby soap because I’m to worried about using regular shampoo! Is the smell harmful, are all beauty products harmful ?
