.om and dad seem to be jumping on fledged chicks back and pushing home flat on the perch.. Mom Pecks a little, they will feed hom though.

Hi, My first chick fledged today and the second is otw out as well soon. Do I return them to the nest or wait and seen if dad will feed them..I do have formula, but hoping a parent will continue. Thank you for answering my questions.

Hi I have a breeding pair, in their own cage. The male has been out(flying) on his own for exercise. Female won’t come out (sitting on her eggs).. I have 5 other budgies, not breeding and not planning to…Can I let the breeding male, fly with the other 5 for exercise and company..

If I, as a novice, were to allow my keets to mate, what is necessary for a pet store to take them to sell? I would think the would require some sort of proof health wise, or would they take them and just keep them quarantined? What is the usual standard?

Our parakeet laid a clutch of six eggs in a cozy keet, but we got her a nesting box big enough for babies and she won’t go in it. The eggs are fertile. Should we just bring her cozy meet back?

I would like to know if the female stays in the nest in the night to heat the egg…. and if I should allow her to do so.

My parakeet laid 4 eggs in the food dish. If 1 or or more are fertilized the dish is too small to hold them. It barely holds her. So I moved the eggs to a nesting box. Will she follow the eggs or should i move them back.
